Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) PHP Script

Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) PHP Script

This is a modified version of Online Public Access Catalog. The code is totally different from the previous one. I made this because I found a lot of problem in the previous version.
I am using Twitter Bootstrap in this version. So the design is kinda different from the original code.
Since this script is using MS Access as the database backend, I’m using ODBC to connect to the database. So you need to setup the Data Sources before you can use this code.
The instruction is the same as the previous script. Just follow it below:
1. Open the Administrative Tools icon in your Control Panel.
2. Double-click on the Data Sources (ODBC) icon inside.
3. Choose the System DSN tab.
4. Click on Add in the System DSN tab.
5. Select the Microsoft Access Driver. Click Finish.
6. In the next screen, click Select to locate the database.
7. Give the database a Data Source Name (DSN). In our case, name it as “Book”.
8. Click OK.
The ODBC should look like the following screenshot below:

If you are using 64bit OS, make sure to use the 32bit version of ODBC. You can run it using the following command:
%windir%\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe
